The Phantom Menace:

This First Episode follows the young years of Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader), the friendship of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Qui-Gon Jinn.
Also shows the beginning of the rise to power of Senator Palpatine to Emperor.

Episode II -
Attack of the Clones:
Ten years later, Padmé Amidala is now a Senator representing her homeworld. A faction of political separatists, led by Count Dooku, attempt to assassinate her. With too few Jedi to defend the Republic, Chancellor Palpatine enlists Jango Fett, who promises his army of clones will handle the situation. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan Kenobi continues to train young Jedi Anakin Skywalker, who fears that the Jedi code will forbid his growing romance with Queen Amidala.

Episode III -
Revenge of the Sith:
Three years into the Clone Wars, and Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker are still fighting. Supreme Chancellor Palpatine is kidnapped by Separatist droid armies led by General Grievous. While Obi-Wan goes to kill Grievous, Anakin is taken under Palpatine's wing, being subtly seduced by the Dark Side of the Force.
Soon enough, a new, darker, ominous figure that would be feared by the entire galaxy is formed: Lord Darth Vader.

This four disc StarWars DVD box set features all new 2004 updates of the classic movies (Star Wars: A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi), plus a disc of Bonus Features.

Disc 1: Episode IV -
A New Hope:
Luke Skywalker, a young farmboy on Tatooine, is thrust into the struggle of the Rebel Alliance when he meets Obi-Wan Kenobi on the desert planet.
Obi-Wan begins Luke's Jedi training as Luke joins him on a daring mission to rescue the beautiful Rebel leader Princess Leia from the clutches of the evil Empire.
Although Obi-Wan sacrifices himself in a lightsaber duel with Darth Vader, Luke proves the Force is with him by destroying the Empire's dreaded Death Star.

Disc 2: Episode V -
Empire Strikes Back:
Three years later Imperial forces continue to pursue the Rebels.
Luke journeys to the planet Dagobah to train with Jedi Master Yoda, who has lived in hiding since the fall of the Republic.
In an attempt to convert Luke to the dark side, Darth Vader lures young Skywalker into a trap in the Cloud City.
In the midst of a fierce lightsaber duel with the Sith Lord, Luke faces the startling revelation that the evil Vader is in fact his father, Anakin Skywalker.

Disc 3: Episode VI-
Return of the Jedi:
In the epic conclusion of the saga, the Empire prepares to crush the Rebellion with a more powerful Death Star, while the Rebel fleet mounts a massive attack on the space station.
Luke Skywalker confronts his father Darth Vader in a final climactic duel before the evil Emperor.
In the last second, Vader makes a momentous choice: he destroys the Emperor and saves his son. The Empire is finally defeated, the Sith are destroyed, and Anakin Skywalker is thus redeemed. At long last, freedom is restored to the galaxy.
